Leading a Vibrant

Worship Service

Rick Muchow — Worship Leader, Saddleback Church

The goal is connection not perfection.

Your worship may be technically flawless and artistically exceptional, but is it helping the people of your congregation turn their hearts towards God?

According to Rich Muchow, 20-year veteran worship pastor at Saddleback Church, the ultimate goal of worship is to magnify God: "God is more interested in the heart than the art!"

Since nothing magnifies God more than changed lives that are living for Him, this becomes the true test of our worship experiences.

According to Rick, "The effective worship leader understands that worship leading is not just leading songs; it is leading lives to life change."

Join CCN for Leading a Vibrant Worship Service and get back to the basics of what it means to worship God.

This practical workshop offers worship ministry leaders, staff and volunteers a vision for inspiring life-changing worship.

Rick shares how to implement his 7 tips for effective Worship L.E.A.D.I.N.G., including:

  • Let God Lead
  • Engage the Senior Pastor's Philosophy of Ministry
  • Align with the Other Purposes of the Church
  • Define Your Target
  • Inspire by Example
  • Never Stop Loving Those You Are Leading
  • Give Your Best!

Make sure that your worship is pointed in the right direction!

Rick Muchow has served as the Pastor of Worship at Saddleback Church for over 20 years.
