The goal is connection not perfection.
Your worship may be technically flawless and artistically exceptional, but is it helping the people of your congregation turn their hearts towards God?
According to Rich Muchow, 20-year veteran worship pastor at Saddleback Church, the ultimate goal of worship is to magnify God: "God is more interested in the heart than the art!"
Since nothing magnifies God more than changed lives that are living for Him, this becomes the true test of our worship experiences.
According to Rick, "The effective worship leader understands that worship leading is not just leading songs; it is leading lives to life change."
