How do you talk to kids?
Do you take the time to prepare your delivery and develop your content? Or do you just put it on "auto pilot" and let the message work itself out... After all, they're just kids!
Don't be fooled! It's definitely not as easy as it looks to connect with kids' minds and hearts in a way that makes a lasting difference.
What's more important, did you know t's actually possible to do more than simply entertain or focus on crowd control?
In this important two part series, veteran expert David Staal returns to CCN to help children's ministry pastors and leadership teams gain the skills they need to effectively communicate the good news of Jesus with children.
Says Staal, "A few key skills will maximize the impact of a communicator’s message on stage."
In this practical broadcast, children's educators and ministry leaders will learn the dynamics of building on the fundamentals of preparation and engaging delivery.
Both Dave and David bring years of experience in communicating to the large Promiseland ministry at Willow Creek Community Church, and this month, their training will focus on Late Childhood.
You'll learn proven methods for:
- Blocking.
- Group management.
- Harnessing the power of a personal story.
Next time you talk to kids, make it count!
