This
special Saturday event will provide practical guidance
for some of the most profound issues that believers wrestle
with.
Our desire for spiritual growth runs deep. Yet the issues in our lives and relationships
that we wish would change often stay the same, even with our best efforts at
spiritual growth.
What does it take to experience
increasing strength and depth in our spiritual walk,
our marriages and family lives and friendships, our personal
development-in everything life is about? And how
can we help others move into growth that is profound
and lasting? Dr. Henry Cloud, who maintains that "all
growth is spiritual growth" will show you how you can
experience such growth in ways you never thought possible.
To love and be loved is the fiercest longing of the soul. Community-living
in vital relationship with others-is essential to human life and yet is the
most difficult challenge we face day to day. We're all imperfect people struggling
to hide our imperfections and present a "normal" face to the world. Yet God
calls us to create community with other imperfect people--to know them and
be known by them--and to allow mutual transparency to bring forth personal
spiritual growth and deeper relationships. John Ortberg will explore the
biblical vision of community as the place where our weaknesses become the
connecting point with other people and with God.
In engaging and entertaining presentations, John and Henry will share important
truths and powerful illustrations. With Q&A sessions built into every
segment of this seminar, viewers will have a unique opportunity to learn
from--and connect with--these acclaimed experts on spiritual growth!
SCHEDULE: a
uniquely interactive format!

Q&A |
|
Here's how the optional Q&A will work:
The first break is 45 minutes long. For the last 15 minutes of the break, Henry
will come back on the air to answer questions from the satellite audience only.
This Q&A period is optional: You can choose to take the whole break of 45
minutes, or shorten the break to 30 minutes so you can participate in the 15
minute Q&A at the end of this break.
The second break is 30 minutes long. Again, for the last 15 minutes of the break,
John will come back on the air to answer questions from the satellite audience
only. You can choose to take the whole break of 30 minutes, or shorten the break
to 15 minutes so you can participate in the 15 minute Q&A at the end of this
break.
So, if you choose, you can submit your questions during the first part of the
breaks and then come back to your seats for the Q&A portions.
If you're in Central or Eastern time, you may choose to skip the Q&A during
the first break and have your lunch during that break. If you're in Pacific or
Mountain time, you may want to have your lunch during the second break, and skip
that Q&A segment. You can adjust the schedule to meet the needs of
your group.
During the last segment of the program, John and Henry will both be on stage
answering questions from the live audience and the satellite audience.
